About the Professional Track for the Gender Expansion Conference: 

As a result of your participation in this conference you should be able to better serve gender diverse adults and youth utilizing the most current evidence informed guidelines and creating a welcoming clinical environment.


Who Should Attend the Professional Track of the Gender Expansion Conference?

The professional track is designed for both clinical and administrative staff who work in a variety of primary care and counselling settings including counselors, physicians, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, physician assistants, medical assistants, nurses, health educators, administrative and support staff.


Continuing Medical Education (CME)

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Institute for Medical Quality/California Medical Association (IMQ/CMA) through the joint providership of Cardea and Gender Expansion Project. Cardea is accredited by the IMQ/CMA to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Cardea designates this conference for a maximum of 18.13 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.


Continuing Nursing Education (CNE)

Cardea Services is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Washington State Nurses Association Continuing Education Approval & Recognition Program (CEARP), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.


Upon successful completion of this CE activity, up to 18.13 contact hours will be awarded.


Successful completion of this continuing education activity includes the following:

o   Completing an evaluation for each session attended
